Here's the process I follow on new websites and redesigns. Every stage has a defined output, so you always know what happens next and what you're approving.
01. Discovery Call
We start with a call to understand your business, your audience and what the website needs to achieve. I ask how you sell, who you sell to, and what's working on your current site and what isn't. Everything that follows is shaped by that conversation.
02. Fixed Price Proposal
I turn the discovery call into a written proposal covering objectives, sitemap, deliverables, timeline and the fixed price. That price doesn't move unless you change the scope, and payments are split across milestones rather than due all at once. You know exactly what the project will cost before any work begins.
03. Design Concept
I design in Figma, starting with the homepage so we agree the visual direction before the rest follows. You see real layouts rather than moodboards: typography, colour, spacing and how pages behave. Three revision rounds are included, and nothing moves into build until you've signed off the designs.
04. WordPress Build
With the design approved, I build the site on the platform that fits your requirements: WordPress, HubSpot or Webflow. The build covers responsive behaviour across devices, page speed, technical SEO and accessibility, structured so your team can add and edit pages without a developer.

05. Testing & Launch
Before launch I test across browsers and devices, check page speed and accessibility, and set up redirects so your existing search rankings carry across. You get a walkthrough of the site and handover documentation, then we go live on an agreed date.
